Barb Deschatelets is a Registered Dental Hygienist and the founder of Racine Oral Care. A lifelong learner, she completed both her Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene education at Confederation College and continues to advance her expertise through leadership and ongoing professional development.
She holds a Fellowship with the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health, reflecting a sophisticated, evidence-based focus on the oral–systemic connection and care at the highest standard.
Beyond clinical practice, Barb is recognized for her leadership within the profession. She currently serves as Administrative Executive and Vice President of the Thunder Bay Dental Hygienists’ Society and contributes nationally as an Item Writer and Subject Matter Expert for the Federation of Dental Hygiene Regulators of Canada.
Through Racine Oral Care, Barb delivers an elevated, client-centered oral health experience defined by clinical excellence, intention, and trust — supporting long-term oral and overall health.
